Is this a therapy class?

No — Soar and Shine is not a therapy session. While our founders are experienced occupational and physiotherapists, these are educational and supportive group classes, designed for all babies and parents. You don’t need a referral or diagnosis — just a desire to understand and support your baby’s development.

What age is this class for?

Our classes are for babies aged 0 to 13 months, with developmentally aligned activities grouped by age/stage (e.g., tummy time, early rolling, sitting, crawling). DM on instagram or email us to support you for the best class for your baby’s stage.

LWhat will my baby and I actually do in the class?

Each week, you and your baby will:

• Engage in developmentally targeted sensory play

• Practice movements that support motor milestones

• Participate in guided bonding and regulation activities

• Learn why these activities matter from an expert OT or PT

Parents also leave with clear take-home knowledge, so you can continue supporting your baby confidently at home.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just yourselves, a blanket, and whatever you and your baby need for comfort (nappy bag, milk, etc.). We’ll provide all play materials and equipment.

What’s the difference between this and other baby classes like music or soft play?

While soft play and music classes are great for fun and social time, Soar and Shine is clinically-designed to target the actual building blocks of your baby’s sensory, physical, and emotional development — all while having fun. You’ll walk away with real insight, support, and a stronger connection with your baby.

Can I come if my baby has extra needs?

Yes! Our classes are open and inclusive — whether your baby is on track or you’re concerned about delays. Because our instructors are qualified health professionals, we’re trained to adapt and support a wide range of needs.

How much does it cost?

Our term-based model brings the cost down to around $30 per class, with 10 classes per term. This includes all equipment, weekly expert-led classes, and bonus parent resources.

Can I book a trial class?

Yes! We offer a low-cost intro class so you can experience the Soar and Shine difference before committing to a term.
